What is Teen Club?

Teen Club provides a safe and supportive place where teens and young adults (ages 13 to 24), with Asperger's Syndrome can pursue shared interests

  2. Teens Away!
  3. Teen Club Yahoo E-Group

Teen Club at Game Club

This is at every Game Club (6:30 to 10:00 p.m. in West Linn). We have our own room for teen rated video games and another room for PG-13 movies, music, visiting and other activities while the little kids are all in the big room downstairs.

Teens Away!

Every other month or so, we have an Away activity, when we are out in the community. These activities are based on what the teens want to do. Activities vary both as to where we go and what we do. Most importantly, we find places to have fun with other teens.

Supervision:

Our Coordinator is Deb Paxton. Her job is to find community resources so the teens can do the activities they are interested in participating. Our Facilitator is Johnny Askew. He helps our teens navigate unfamiliar social situations helps teens have a positive experience at Teen Club activities.

And of course you and your teen are always welcome to come and check us out. We run on donations ($5.00 suggested) and everyone is asked to bring food and beverages to share. There is a place for parents to hang out too.

A parent is required to attend the first event in which your teen participates. We also depend on the tranportation by parent volunteers for some events.

Teen Club Yahoo E-Group:

If you would like to be part of our moderated PAN Teen Club E-group, let us know and we will send you an invitation to join. The E-group is our preferred way to get information out to those interested in our activities. Just email us at contact@aspergersnet.org

Cost:

Varies by activity. For most events please donate $5 per person.
